Простой путь -- игнорировать.
Сложный -- пересобрать mc без libgpm.

_IMHO_ такие вещи как gpm, и прочие чисто юзерские да ещё и не всем нужные
прибабахи необходимо иметь возможность включать/выключать с помощью
--with/--without при сборке.

Используемый мною патч к mc.spec в аттаче.
