No, for some strange reason, it doesn't.  It comes back with an error that it 
"could not determine the format."

I burned the CDs months ago using XCDRoast, and they work on our DVD player.  
When I get back from my trip, I'll try using a LiveCD version of Linux and 
see if that reads the discs.
