Нажимаем кнопку "получить сведения". Скачиваются два файлика с прогрессбаром,
а потом ожидание... Ждём (я понимаю, что дальше качается инфа о пакетах, но
прогресбара нет).

Объясните различие между:
kernel-image-xen-dom0:
---
The Linux kernel (the core of the Linux operating system`
This package contains the Linux kernel that is used to boot and run
 your system.

The "xen026" variant of kernel packages is a XenLinux kernel which
contains hardware device drivers and drivers for Xen's virtual devices.

Xen is an open-source para-virtualizing virtual machine monitor (VMM),
or 'hypervisor', for the x86 processor architecture. Xen can securely
execute multiple virtual machines on a single physical system with
 close-to-native performance.

Или привожу описания -def, -smp, -se:
----
The Linux kernel (the core of the Linux operating system`
This package contains the Linux kernel that is used to boot and run
 your system.

Most hardware drivers for this kernel are built as modules. Some of
these drivers are built separately from the kernel; they are available
 in separate packages (kernel-modules-*-std-def).

The "std" variant of kernel packages is a generic 2.6.x kernel which
should support wide range of hardware, but does not contain patches
which are useful only for some special applications (and may have
undesirable side effects in other cases). This is the default 2.6.x
kernel variant for ALT Linux distributions.----

The "std-smp" variant supports SMP systems, but should also work on
uniprocessor systems without noticeable overhead (the SMP alternatives
code automatically removes most of the SMP overhead if an uniprocessor
 system is detected).

Где подсказка о том, что нужно выбрать пользователю?
В synaptic нет окна со статьёй с freesource...
Может проще во все описания добавить "goto:"?
