На LDAP-сервер на PDC... Самбе он отдается...

updatedn -специальный dn в дереве ldap, под ним slurpd с master-LDAP обновляет 
базы на slave'ах
updateref указывает на master LDAP, т.е. на PDC

в точности то же самое...

При этом обращений к master-LDAP не наблюдается - все заканчивается на попытке 
модификации dn на slave-LDAP и получении в ответ referral'а на master-LDAP...
