Для него надо модули грузить.

Понятно.

IPMI надо настроить для доступа через сеть ( ipmitool lan )

Затем на удалённой машине:
ipmitool -I lanplus -H xxx.xxx.xxx.xx -U root sol activate

Но для начала снаружи посмотреть ipmitool -I lanplus -H xxx.xxx.xxx.xx 
-U root -a chassis status

проверить, работает ли оно вообще.
