You must still have an initrd and a stale module.  I don't know how
the system will react to having two different versions of the driver
loaded at the same time.

The 6.1.5 version is quite old.  Version 6.2.2 was released today and
can be found here:

Hi All,
	I tried 2.4.9 and 2.4.11, both of which have a similar problem as
that reported in;

This effects the first channel of 7895 controller. 

- Так что здесь одно решение - апгрейдить версию для aic7xxx, если не поможет,
писать автору драйвера.

ЗЫ 2Konstantin Volcov - надо, наверное, в новом релизе ядра учесть. Хотя, может
вы уже в курсе :-)
