*Principal Software Engineer, Advanced Development group*



*PROJECT DESCRIPTION*



The goal of the project is to provide leading edge software protocol
components. The work will be primarily in the area of low latency high
bandwidth transport protocol, drivers for the communication hardware,
protocol management software, and storage application protocols.



*JOB DESCRIPTION*



Participate, under the supervision of the project leader, in the design,
implementation and testing of a newly developed subsystem of platform.



*REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE*



-         University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or
Electronics Engineering.

-         Strong working knowledge of technical English.

-         Superb knowledge of C/C++ (at least 6 years).

-         Experience with Real Time Operating environments – RTOS

-         Experience in development of Real Time, Embedded software
projects.

-         Experience in development of large software projects as  part
of a team.

-         Knowable of Linux kernel, drivers and applications.

-         Proficiency in Unix/Linux work environments GNU tools, GCC etc .

-         Proficiency in networking protocols, knowledge of storage
protocols is a pus.

-         Practical familiarity with Fiber Chanel, SCSI, ISCSI and other
storage protocols will be a big plus.

2)*Senior  Software Engineer*

Engineering group is responsible for integration of the Novell/SLES
Linux distribution into the company’s product, develops system level
code to configure and manage the platform and works closely with the
high level application teams to debug Linux kernel and performance
issues. The team also plays a critical role in supporting the field
population and in producing specific tools and procedures used by our
support engineers.

Most of the code developed by the team is system level code
(C/C++/Perl/BASH) with some development and debugging in the Linux
kernel. As part of the general platform support, team members have a
chance to work with some of the leading people in the Linux world on
issues like disk error handling, file system robustness and stability.

*Требования к кандидату:*

Education/Experience:

*    BS in CS/CE experience or equivalent.
*    Strong C/C++ programming experience
*    BASH/Perl/Python experience
*    Ability to work with other teams over long distance is critical since.
*    Ability to work with the open source community a plus.
*    System level experience in networking, device drivers and file
systems a plus.
*    Java programming experience is a great plus.
