Subject: [Ltsp-developer] NBI/ELF Etherboot wrapping difficulties

This is just a FYI so people know what is going on with LTSP5 for Fedora
development.

For the last two days I have been trying to make coreboot/Etherboot work
automatically in LTSP5 for Fedora 9 on Artec Group's ThinCan model
DBE61C-R3.

http://www.coreboot.org/pipermail/coreboot/2008-April/033764.html
mkelfimage seems broken with the very new 2.6.25 kernel in Fedora 9
(seems unable to decompress the initrd).

mkelf-linux and mknbi-linux both fail during ELF/NBI download with a
checksum error.

Tried hpa's new wraplinux tool. It worked with qemu/Etherboot unlike
the other three tools, but unfortunately it didn't help the
coreboot/Etherboot case.
