Так оно и есть - только в 2.1.x.

OpenLDAP and Cyrus SASL versions:

OpenLDAP 2.0 only supports Cyrus SASL 1.5. OpenLDAP 2.1 supports both
the 1.5 and the 2.1 Cyrus SASL distributions.

You must use OpenLDAP 2.1 if you want to use Cyrus SASL 2.1. The Cyrus
SASL API changed drastically from 1.5 to 2.x and Cyrus SASL 2.x
absolutely will not work with OpenLDAP 2.0.
