Okay folks, found this on lkml a few days ago and thought some folks
here might be interested.  I was encountering some read errors while
ripping dvd's under 2.6.3-ck2 which I thought were the result of dirty
discs.  Turns out the ide-cd.ko module didn't have DMA capabilities yet.  

Hopefully this patch will make it into the next release of the kernel.
Jans Axboe wrote it.  It works for me, maybe it'll help others.

For those of you who may have been trying to check up on the latest
version of dvd9to5 in the past week or so, the server had some problems,
and it had to be re-setup.  My apologies.  

I'm working on the next release of dvd9to5 (v0.1.6), but most of my time
has been sucked up bringing myself up to speed on 2.6.x/udev .
