[Comm] не определяется встроенный картридер

Добрый день!

Купил ноут ASUS G55JR-CN287H. Пробую загрузить с usb-флешки
SimplyLinux 7.0.5 в лив-режиме. Вроде добился, чтобы грузилось. Но
есть проблема: система не видит вставленную во встроенный картридер
SD-карту. На вставление-вытаскивание вообще никакой реакции, в dmesg
ничего нового не появляется.

При этом, если заргузиться в предустановленную винду 8, то там
SD-карта видится нормально.

Я хотел поставить на SD-курту SimplyLinux, но не могу, так как катра
не определяется ни в лив-режиме, ни в режиме установки.

Можно это как-то побороть?
