[Comm] ddccontrol, LG L1730S, nVidia GeForce 6800 GS

Захотелось мне поуправлять яркостью-контрастностью не отрывая задницы от
кресла.
Монитор LG 1730S, видеокарточка nVidia GeForce 6800 GS.

А вот ddccontrol -p материться как сапожник:

и предлагает запустить LANG= LC_ALL= ddccontrol -p -c -d и выслать
результаты на ddccontrol-users на lists.sourceforge.net

Я на это повелся. Он долго терзал монитор, написал 97КБ ругани типа
..Invalid response, first byte is 0x51, should be 0x6e
Capabilities read fail.

sendbytes: error - bailout.

и похерил все мои тщательно настроенные присеты.

Посмотрел, GSM438D.xml действительно нету. Пробовал найти GSM438D.xml с
помощью Гугля. Безуспешно.
 Попробовал ему подсунуть GSMlcd.xml - практически ничего не изменилось.
Тот же Invalid response, first byte is 0x51, should be 0x6e

Попробовал установить ddccontrol из Сизифа, но он запросил еще пакетов. И
я отказался от этой затеи, потому как игрища с Сизифом меня еще ни разу до
добра не доводили :-)

Вообщем, кто знает, что делать - подскажите, пожалуйста.
