[Comm] Как проадейтить ядро?

Хочу поробовать что такое VirtualBox. Запустил ран файл а он мне в ответ:

У меня АльД 4.0 с бранчем.

начал ставить
apt-get install kernel-image-std-smp#2.6.18-alt8
...
1: kernel-image-std-smp   ############################ [100%]
/
Fatal: open /boot/splash/desktop/message: No such file or directory
Done.

Что делать?
