[Comm] Problemi s MPlayer

Подскажите, пожалуйста, как решить следующую проблему с MPlayer:

Mplayer у меня стоял, но играть что-либо отказывался по неизвестной
причине. Удалив его, а также mplayer-gui, mplayer-default-skin через
synaptic решил поставить всё сначала. Прочитав, что лучше поставить
w32codec-all для бОльших возможностей mplayer'a скачал его с сайта
packman и установил через apt-get.
Оттуда же был скачан MPlayer-1.0pre8-4.x86_64.rpm

При попытке поставить его получаю:

При попытке поставить "старый" MPlayer, который уже стоял получаю:

Этот пакет относится к directfb. Исследуя dependens sinaptic'ом получаю:

directfb:
  Depends: libdirectfb (=0.9.21-alt1.20041024) but 0.9.24-alt2.1.1 is
to be installed
 Depends: libdirect-0.9.so.21
 Depends: libdirectfb-0.9.so.21
 Depends: libfusion-0.9.so.21

Поиск в synaptic по  libdirectfb-0.9.so.24 не даёт ничего.

Подскажите, как всё-таки поставить MPlayer так, что бы он играл
различные MP4 видеопотоки. Очень желательно понимать к стандартному
набору  такие контейнеры как matroska и ms video кодеки.
