Думаю, вы зарыли уже много собак =)
1) Никогда не собирайте под root'ом
2) Используйте google.com для поиска ошибок - например, я сразу наткнулся
на

3) Всегда указывайте что, чем, с чем и как собираете =)

сдается мне, что у вас либо что-то с gcc не то, либо с ядром.
