[Comm-en] Few compact questions

After all the problems I was having getting X to run with Jr. I switched to 
Compact 2.3 (102403). Install went perfectly! Now I just have a few 
questions. Keep in mind that I'm very new to Linux, so don't laugh to hard 
at these!

1. I zoomed through the installation and accidentally chose the wrong mouse, 
so my scroll wheel is not working. It's not a necessity, but very 
convenient. How do I change this?

2. I know this is possible, I just can't figure it out. How do I get my NTFS 
partions to show up in here? I know that writing to it is not recommended, 
which is fine. I just need read access so I can access my mp3s, bookmarks 
and a list I made that has all my passwords for sites.

3. Is it normal for Synaptic to tell me that I have all the updates? I fixed 
sources.list to access the sysiphus repositories (they were #'d so I removed 
the #), updated the list, and it still tells me that I have everything, is 
that right? If not, how do I fix this?
