Platform 11 (p11 - Salvia branch) has been released. In the new stable
branch packages are built for the following architectures:
- x86_64;

- Elbrus: e2k (v3, 4C) and e2kv4 (8C/1C+), as well as e2kv5 (8C), the
new e2kv6.
Multilib support will remain in the repository for x86_64. For 32-bit
architectures mipsel, armh (armv7a), 64-bit ppc64le, the p11 branch is
not created.
The platform is designed for the development, testing, distribution,
updating and support of integrated solutions at all levels - from
embedded devices to enterprise servers and data centers. The platform is
created and developed by the ALT Linux Team, supported by Basealt Ltd.
The Eleventh platform contains solutions related to the operation of the
Active Directory, migration from proprietary infrastructure and others.
New versions of applications
At the time of the release of the p11 branch, the Linux kernel 6.1, 6.6,
3.10 (OpenVZ) is available. rt-6.1.90 (with real-time patches). Systemd
255.6, Glibc 2.38, and a set of GCC compilers 13.2, 12.3, and 11.4 are
provided for the system environment.
Network services and connections have been updated: NetworkManager has
been updated to version 1.46, multifunctional DNS server BIND 9.18,
nginx 1.24, Apache httpd 2.4, postfix 3.8.
The p11 branch provides a wide range of development tools, including:
Rust 1.78, Python 3.12 and 2.7, LLVM toolkits 17 and 18 versions, the
Perl interpreter 5.38. The set of popular boost C++ libraries has been
updated to 1.85. The toolchain for the Golang programming language has

from the repository in favor of pipewire-jack, a compatibility layer
with JACK for PipeWire.
The Linux Group Policy Project
The new stable branch presents a solution for implementing group
policies in the ALT OS, based on the Samba project - an alternative to
Active Directory for Linux/Unix.
During the development of the p10 branch, own developments have been
actively developing - graphical group policy management tools in Linux
ADMC and GPUI, as well as the gpupdate group policy application
mechanism. Currently, the application versions in p10 and p11 are
synchronized: ADMC 0.16, GPUI 0.2, gpupdate 0.10. Maintenance of this
set of utilities is also planned to be carried out synchronously until
the end of support for p10.
In p11 a stable version of Samba 4.20 is available along with Kerberos 1.21.
